This collection consists of materials produced by Columbia University. This includes minutes and reports of the University Council from 1902 to 1950. The directories of Columbia University, 1975-2006, contain contact information for students and academic and administrative departments as well as the academic calendar. The collection also includes programs from the inaugurations of Nicholas Murray Butler as President of Columbia University in 1902 and Seth Low as President of Columbia College in 1890. Some of the publications in the collection include articles about Barnard College, such as in the Columbia University Quarterlys, "Columbia College and its Future Site," Columbia Library Columns, and "The Admission of Women to Universities." Other publications include the welcome address to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, "Women's Faculty Club of Columbia University: An Informal History," and an "Unauthorized Guide" to attending Columbia University. Of note is the 1968 issue of Columbia College's alumni magazine, Columbia College Today, which details the events of the 1968 Columbia University protests.
