In this tape Beverly Guy-Sheftall (Spelman College) presents her research which calls for the identification of different experiences (ex: class, gender, etc.) within the Black community. She also talks about how elitism plays a roll in access to academic conversations like those being held at this conference. Part of the Afternoon Workshops at the Scholar and Feminist Conference XIV.
