Scope and Contents

A comprehensive guide to on and off campus activities and services for Disabled students created and published by the Office for Disabled Students (ODS). The guide has information about ODS itself, the workers in ODS like Julie Marstellar, Karen Heller, Rena Fredman, Beth Ament, and Susan E. Quinby.

The guide also includes the services provided like mobility aids, accessibility technology, financial assistance, food services, commuter affairs, and any other important information for Disabled students.

Material pertaining to individual student records is restricted for 75 years from the date of creation, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Personnel records of faculty and staff (including search, tenure/promotion, and disciplinary/grievance records) are restricted for 75 years from the date of creation.

Access to Alexa Easter's oral history recording is restricted until July 2025 at the request of the donor. Access to Caroline Kneeley's oral history recording is limited to Barnard affiliates. All other access must be approved by the donor.
