Subseries 1.4, Claire of the Sea Light, includes research materials, manuscripts, proofs, and printed copies of the published novel with Danticat’s annotations and inserted notes for author readings. Published in 2013, Claire of the Sea Light looks at the fictional coastal town of Ville Rose in Haiti, along with the life and characters related to Claire Limye, who runs away after being given away by her father to an affluent fabric vendor in the town.
