Scope and Contents

Contains materials related to student organizing and activism around issues such as Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), the Vietnam War, and the presence of CIA recruiters on campus. Report from the Deans of GS, CC, and SEAS to President Grayson Kirk on disciplinary recommendations for students who participated in an anti-NROTC demonstration at Low Library on May 7, 1965 (1965-05). Correspondence to administration from students involved in actions whom were facing disciplinary procedures, some detailing incidents of police brutality against student demonstrators. Correspondence from administration to students detailing the disciplinary measures they faced for participating in actions on campus. SDS materials: news bulletin and a letter to President Kirk. Columbia University newsletter including an article titled "Policy on Picketing" (1966-12).
