Costume Design, circa 1924

This series contains pictures, pamphlets, scrapbooks, periodicals, and manuscripts used for reference purposes by the organizers of the Greek Games. Included are images, photographs, and drawings of classical Greek imagery, pamphlets relating to Ancient Greek athletics and games, and information on costume construction. Of special interest is a manuscript on the history of the Greek Games written by a Barnard Alumna, Julie Marstellar and Edward Delevan Perry’s bound collection of the ancient Greek invocations and challenges.
