Historical Summary
The Center for Innovative Pedagogy Working Group met throughout the 2017–2018 academic year to advise the President and Provost on the vision, scope, and development of a modern Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at Barnard College. Composed of faculty and administrators, the group was tasked with creating a center dedicated to advancing innovation and experimentation in pedagogy. The Committee worked to identify strategies to support faculty in improving classroom teaching, foster inclusive and research-based instructional practices, integrate new technologies, and enhance student learning experiences.
