Historical Summary
The Student Life Computing Committee was charged with defining and articulating the technological needs of students and student services. The committee assessed student-owned technology and identified areas for improved computing access, such as residence halls and student centers. It recommended a universal networking system connecting students, faculty, and administration; campus-wide computer access; a student computer purchase/lease program; upgrades to student services computer systems; and clearer standards for funding and managing computing resources.
