In 2014, the Capital Campaign Faculty Advisory Committee (CFAC) served as a forum through which Barnard faculty proposed and reviewed initiatives designed to shape fundraising goals and long-term investments, advance innovation in teaching, and expand research, diversity, and infrastructure. Submissions included initiatives such as the Harlem Semester and Black Women Writers Archive from Africana Studies; the establishment of a Creativity Center to support artistic collaboration; and an expansion of the BCRW Fellows Program.
