Collection Scope and Content Note

This collection contains materials that document the Institute for Urban Education at Barnard College, including its inception, implementation, and evaluation. Included in the collection are photographs, grant proposals, reports, evaluations, program files, reference material, and alumnae files. Program files contain correspondence between students, fellows, CETE faculty, parents, and cooperating teachers and principles. Also included are curricula, rosters, flyers, calendars, schedules, assignments, guidelines, and other logistical information of the program's implementation. Reference material includes nature and field guides, and sections from a forest ecology text book. Alumnae files include correspondence, updates, and surveys.
