Series Scope and Content Summary

This series contains programs, invitations, correspondence, medalist recipients, and reports to the Board of Trustees relating to the Medal of Distinction honor and corresponding receptions. The Medal of Distinction is awarded to individuals who demonstrate distinguished service to one's community, outstanding archievement in one's own field, or for a unique contribution to Barnard College. The Medal of Distinction is Barnard College's highest honor.
