Scope and Contents

Materials from CWP's campaign work against solitary confinement and in favor of the HALT Solitary bill, especially focused on research, interviews, correspondence, meeting agendas, and edited drafts of the Prison Within Prison: Voices of Women in Isolated Confinement report. Names and identifying information of interview particants and survey respondants are redacted to protect confidentiality, except in cases where express permission to use full names was provided.

Access to Rhea Mallett's oral history interview in series 5 is restricted at the requsest of the donor: the interview may not be made available online; digital files may be sent to individual researchers accompanied with a note prohibiting online reproduction.
