Abtract

This collection consists of materials from the Barnard College Anthropology Department.

Collection Arrangement

This collection is arranged chronologically at the file level. Additionally, the archivist completed high-level physical rearrangement to allow the digital materials to be easily integrated into a single system of arrangement. The archivist placed the digital documents, at the highest directory level, into a new folder with a new file name.

Acquisition Information

Transferred to the archives from the Anthropology Department. Event recordings transferred from Instructional Media and Technology Services (IMATS) in 2025.

Accruals

Additions are expected.

Processing History

The original arrangement is unknown. In August 2025, Martha Tenney processed a small digital accrual. In September 2025, Olivia Newsome physically re-arranged, intellectually re-arranged, and described this collection.

In September 2025, Olivia Newsome transferred Faculty Executive Committee meeting minutes from this collection to BC06.13.
