Historical Note
The Undergraduate Association was formed in 1892. Every student at Barnard College was a member of the Undergraduate Association. Between 1892 and the late 1960's, it was organized under three boards; Student Council (executive), Representative Assembly (legislative), and Honor Board (judicial). Since the 1990's the organization has been known as the Student Government Association (SGA). The SGA elects a representative student government, sponsors co-curricular activities, special events, and clubs reflecting the interests of the student body.
