Biography
C. Elizabeth McNeil graduated from Barnard College in 1936. During World War II she was trained as an air traffic controller and was one of the first women to work at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport tower. McNeil also served as president of the American Association of University Women's Birmingham, Alabama Branch.
